The Europe Region accepts on a first-come, first-served basis, a maximum of 20 teams whose registrations are fully and correctly completed. Teams registering thereafter will be waitlisted for 14 days should there be any cancellation by confirmed teams. Once datasets are released there will be no replacement of participating schools.

This year, there will be no required sponsorship from schools to participate in the IBA, but teams will be expected to arrange and purchase their own travel to Prague.
