The AAPG Europe Region is pleased to announce the winning teams of the AAPG/AAPG Foundation Imperial Barrel Award semi-final, which took place in Prague on 19th and 20th March. IFP School from Paris took the first place and will represent the Europe Region at the final competition at the ACE in Salt Lake City in May. In second place was the University of Stavanger. After a late review of the assessment of the presentations by the judges it was decided to confer two 3rd place positions one to Lomonosov Moscow State University and the other to UniLaSalle of Beauvais, France. AAPG and AAPG Europe Region congratulate the winning teams and thank all the members of the 21 teams that took part in the competition.
